1. Introduction

Welcome to Atlas ("we", "our", or "us"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and your personal data. Atlas is a browser-integrated, privacy-first SaaS AI Resume Optimizer. All database structures, cloud file systems, and authentications are built on Puter.js, meaning you retain complete control and ownership over your personal data.

2. Information We Process

To provide you with high-quality AI-driven resume optimization and tracking services, we process the following types of information:

  • Resume Files and Images: The PDF resume documents you upload, and the temporary image files generated from them to perform layout analysis.
  • Job Criteria: Target job details including company name, job title, and job descriptions used to check ATS alignment.
  • AI Analysis Results: Score metrics, formatting critiques, keyword recommendations, and tailored bullet-point updates generated by our AI.
  • Account Credentials: Secure user names and authentication details managed entirely by Puter's decentralized login system.

3. Data Storage and Control

Unlike typical SaaS products that store your information in centralized corporate databases, Atlas uses a decentralized cloud infrastructure:

  • Decentralized Cloud: All files, resumes, and databases are stored in your secure sandboxed folder via Puter.js.
  • Data Sovereignty: We do not have direct backend access to browse or download your documents. Your data is stored within your user account and cannot be read by third parties without your authorization.
  • Complete Deletion (Right to Erasure): We provide a built-in Wipe App Data dashboard utility under the /wipe path. Initiating this action immediately deletes all uploaded files, images, and keys from your cloud space, leaving zero trace of your session on our services.

4. AI Analysis & Processing

When you initiate an analysis, your resume and target job details are securely sent to the AI processing layer managed through Puter's serverless AI service API. This data is only used to run your real-time optimization query. It is never used to train foundational models, nor is it stored permanently by the AI model providers.

5. Third-Party Services

We integrate with secure, industry-leading third-party services to deliver SaaS features:

  • Puter.js: Serves as our hosting, database, authentication, and file storage framework.
  • Dodo Payments: Handles subscription payments, invoices, and billing processing securely. Your credit card information is never handled or stored on our servers.

6. Security Measures

We implement robust security standards using Puter's sandboxed environment. Your files are isolated and protected against cross-site scripting (XSS) and database breaches. However, no internet-based platform is 100% secure, and we encourage you to protect your credentials.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may periodically update this Privacy Policy to reflect modifications to our features, dependencies, or legal requirements. We will notify you of any material changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document.
